Wildebeest gather near the Mara River in July before migrating across it.
The zebra and wildebeest travel together during the Great Migration. With their better eyesight, the zebras lead the way, and the wildebeest, with their herd mentality, follow behind.
One begins to approach the bank of the Mara River.
One wildebeest begins to descend to the Mara River.
As one descends, others begin to follow.
The crossing begins.
Wildebeest cross the Mara River and ascend the other bank.
The wildebeest ascend the bank on the other side of the Mara River.
More and more wildebeest pour into the river, where they are vulnerable to preditors.

Their numbers grow.
(cue the dramatic music). A few wildebeest notice the crocodile in the water.
